First Post from Israel!

Mah nishma?!

Can, zeh Ivrit. Ani lomedet Ivrit b'Hebrew University. Its pretty cool. So "mah at osa," you ask? Um right now I'm writing a blog post and showing off my Hebrew skills. Gam ani shotah mayim. Not really. I just wanted to show off more.

So as you can tell, Ulpan is great. Nativ is great. My friends are great. I'm great. Israel is great! I'm really loving it here so far.

Now lets play a game. Its called "Week In Review". The rules are simple. You read what I write. Thats it. Easy, nachon?

I went to services, lead birkat, kept Shabbos, talked to family, met amazing people, stayed out late, had orientation, went to Ulpan, took a Jerusalem history class, went to the Kotel on Shabbos, ate, did Slichot, participated in random singing, got lost in the Old City, got lost in Jerusalem, spent money, barely slept, and had an amazing time.

Now lets play another game. Its called "Any Regrets so Far?" Same rules apply.

I do have one regret. I wish I had carried my camera around to take pictures because the views from everywhere are gorgeous! I'll take pictures of the view from campus, they are stunning!

Housekeeping:

My roommates are really nice. All four of us get along. No, you can't see a picture of our room just yet. Its really messy. Surprised? Yes mom, I'm washing off my makeup at night. Yes dad, I'm getting good grades. 96 on my first Ulpan quiz! I don't know why it wasn't a 97!
